I having trouble with my builders. They opened the crate but one of them walked off before they removed the gong piece. I keep trying to get them to pick t up, but they will not synchronize their movements enough to pick it up. Any ideas on how I can get the gong piece out of the crate's rubble?

Only one villager needs to pick up the gong piece, and it doesn't need to be a builder once you've opened the crate.

Maybe putting more than one villager on the piece is causing them to drop it?

Okay, I tried that, but it sounds as though they are pickig up the gong piece and when they stand up it flashes over to "nothing". What in the world is going on?

Are you sure they haven't picked up the gong piece already? If you haven't cleared away the area in front of the gong encasement, the piece won't appear (it gets stored in the research hut).

You can check by looking at the puzzle screen and see if you have that puzzle solved.

You may also have lost the gong piece by accident (if the carrying villager drops it, the piece doesn't reappear) -- you can solve this by quitting the game and restarting.
