I played the original without checking out any spoilers... it took me quite a while and to be honest I started over again more than I care to admit. When I recently purchased VV2, I decided to check out the puzzle spoilers. UGH Big mistake and I really don't know how to fix it.

I was working on two things at once, opening the crate and putting the elder statue down south. Well, when I uncovered the one gong piece in the mosaic the chick carrying the other piece decided to go celebrate that event in so doing she "lost" the other gong piece. I have no completed all puzzles except that one.

I can go back to where the scattered debris is from the crate and it will sound like and even say that the individual is getting the piece of the gong. Second later; however, that person is either doing nothing or off to do complete another task. I have tried with all possible people.

I guess I am going to have to start over again, unless someone can offer some advice.

Exit the game and relaunch it. You should be able to take the appropriate person back to the crate to pick up the piece
