Has anyone noticed that the points received for mushrooms is different everytime, They have ranged on my current game of VV2 from 6 to about 150 (The mushrooms where all the same colour, brown). Is this a glitch or is it supposed to happen. When a large point value is received the child that picked the mushroom jumps up and down in front of the food box and is excited.

well theres a glitch that sometimes when you set them on a mushroom you read their * collecting an item for scientist* im thinking it would be the same glitch and your really getting the red mushrooms,,, or its the allusive double golden mushroom that noone can find, cause ive seen them do that too,, with brown ones, and maybe the glitch is stopping us from seeing the double mushroom.

I have been keeping a watch on how many mushrooms have been collected and found that about 1 in 20 will give the extra food points but have only noticed 1 mushroom that was a different colour, It was a lighter brown than normal.*** Just got another mushroom and it came from the ruins in the bottom right corner, gave me about 35-40 food points***

The one that gave you the 35 points, what colour was it?

It was a slightly lighter brown than normal, when I saw it I thought it was a normal mushroom

The 35-point mushrooms are red. Your screen may need recalibrating. Can you normally identify things that are red?
