When you teach the children does it increase their skill? Are they learning any skill points or is it just to give the parenting points to the parent? Goddessjuno

I had a similar discussion once, so I tried observing the whole procedure. Sry, I still think the kids do not gain any skills from telling a story or teaching (which is a bit of a pity and could well goes into my wishlist for vv3 ).

My children have gained skill through lessons.

Oft times they will also gain it on their own as well. By the time they're 4 years old, they've all got some skill or another - whether from having master parents or high enough culture tech, I'm not sure.

My wishlist for VV3 includes a school, though.

I have had one of my elders teach my children, but only 2 of them have increased their skills from it. At least, it is something.
