Hi - As I anxiously await the take forever delivery of my VV2 purchase - I am loving VV1 and am wondering if we can have more than one VV1 game going? I see the player change possibility on the menu and think this is the case - but I must not lose my current game! \:\) what I am supposing is that we can change players and have different instances of the game going - but only the last one you have up continues in the computer after shutdown - am I right about this?
Also, I have more than one computer on in this house. If I load VV1 into that other computer and use my key for that one as well - will I be able to play a different game on that one?
I am petrified about doing any of these things as I'm halfway to the 150,000 needed tech points for me science tech and I love my villagers.

You have 5 slots. If you do not pause the game before you either quit the program or switch to a different slot, the game continues to "run."

For example, if you have 5 games, one in each slot, and none of them are paused, and if you quit the game and turn off the computer at night, when you turn the computer back on the next day and run VV, all 5 of your games will have advanced.

I am not certain about your key working on your other computer. If you bought the game from BFG I can tell you with almost 100% certainty that your key will not work. BFG will however give you up to 4 more keys to install your program 4 more times. These installs can be used on your other computer. They are intended however to let you install the game on your own computer if you either upgrade to a better computer or if you are recovering from a system crash where you lost your hard drive.

Lastly, if you are petrified of doing anything because you will lose your tech points and love your villagers, you can just make a backup of the game save files. In fact that is a good idea to do that for everyone anyway.

You can search the forums and you should be able to find threads that tell you how to backup the game save files.

I have a Big Fish game account as well, and when you activated your game you should have receieved an email stating * thank you for your purchase* type thing, halfway down the letter, is a code and instructions on how to download in case you need to and yes you get 4 free reinstalls and it doesnt use your original key number, you use the code thats in the email. and you CAN download into another computer as long as its of your personal use, i have two computers as well one for my daughter and i recently put it on hers, you are allowed, when you are downloading it, it says allready paid, and then asks you if it is from formatting or crash issues or a different computer, and it works just fine. if you have any difficulties just pm me and i will help you step by step, ive done it several times now with different games for both of our computers
