does food last longer being made into a stew than it does jusxt being eaten straight from the food bin?

i'm not sure kooli, i've seen my villagers head straight for the food bin after eating both beneficial & harmful stews.

I don't know if the food in the stew lasts longer, but you can feed lots of villagers with it before it runs out -- I've never had a stew run out while I was trying to feed villagers from it.

making an edible stew gives you a net gain to your food bin of around 25 food points.

making an inedible stew costs you food points though. it costs food points during the making of any stew.

with edible stews you get a food point bonus upon completion of the stew which more than makes up for that small food cost.
