Sometimes, for no apparent reason the screen starts flashing between a black screen and what ever I'm looking at on the game. You can navigate on the screen just not see it all the time. Even quitting and reloading doesn't always fix the problem. This problem only occurs when playing VV not on any other programmes. Does any one else have this problem and is it fixable because it's makes me regret spending the money when I can't play it.

You might try going through the Video Troubleshooting Guide. Playing the game in full-screen mode also might help.
