Use your image editor to edit the file:
   collectables_images.png
which is located here:
   C:\Program Files\Virtual Villagers - The Lost Children\Images

The file above is for the images of the collectables. There are other files in this folder that you can edit to change clothing, heads, and much more.

Don't forget to make a backup of the original files first! \:\)
