I need to do the puzzle where you get the algae out of the water, the only problem is I've never had algae I keep sending my villagers in the water to get fish. I have about 10 villagers at once going in there and still no algae. Any suggestions as to how I can get the algae to appear?

i think you can solve the algae puzzle without getting the algae, but the clues don't pop up

I've heard making sure you harvest all the coconuts out ot the trees helps. Click on it and see if it says there are 0 left.

if there are not coconuts, they have to turn to a differnet food source

if you have time to watch them, drop the villagers in the ocaen, let them take the food to the bin, pick them up and drop them back in the ocean

I was able to solve the puzzle w/o getting algae.

You're lucky - I had algae right at the start of my first game and all my villagers starved to death before I could get rid of it :(. Keep going and it will eventually appear.

Try letting the fire go out, get your villagers to eat all the coconuts and don't let them plant crops.
