I recently broke my right hand (I'm right-handed) and have to use my left for everything including moving the mouse to play my game \:\) . I'm finding it really challenging to play my game so my challenge for all of you is to see if anyone wants to start a new game and play it with your hand that is not your dominate hand and we can see who finishes first! It's harder then what you might think unless of course you happen to be ambidextrous! \:\) Come on suffer with me! \:\)

Cass, really sorry about your hand. Why don't you try using the keyboard to move around the screen!

If you use the num pad (sorry it's on the hand side); think of the game screen as a square with the #5 being the center (between the fire and research table.

You can also use the numbers along the top of the keyboard.

Hope this helps you.

QuickStorm moving around the screen isn't as bad as picking up a peep and putting them on a particular task, runners and kids for mushroom hunting is the worst!

Cass, if it isn't too hard for you; you could click on peep or child (hold him like normal) and then hit the any of the number keys. This will take him/her to the area you want without using the mouse to scroll just for holding.

I injured my right shoulder (rotator cuff) so I had to learn how to mouse with my left hand. Now it is my preferred hand for the mouse. I cna mouse with the left and number with the right. SO I don't have to put my mouse down to key in numbers.

I'm right handed but I taught myself to use a mouse with my left hand when I had a data entry job a few years ago. I had to type handwritten information from official forms into a database and check off various details on those forms with a pen as I entered them. I found it a right pain to keep swapping between my mouse and the pen all the time so I decided to see if I could use the mouse left handed - I could - and I got my work done a LOT faster too. From then on I kept the pen in my right hand and the mouse in my left - which really annoyed co-workers who used my computer while I was on my lunch breaks and I'd get back to find it swapped round to the right side again!

Now I ALWAYS use a mouse left handed. Keep practising and you'll never look back :).

Sorry can't help you. I was born left-handed and sadly I was one of those children who the teachers tried to "correct" me inot using my right hand. The only thing everyone did was cause me to be able to use both my right and left, including writing and the use of my mouse. I always interchange hands and VV2 is no difference.
