I have one village who just can't get that last tiny experience as a builder. If I put him at the research table as a builder, will he get more building experience or can you only get research experience there?

I'm low on tech points so I don't have anything for him to build! I keep sending him to the huts to fix but that only goes so far. He's 56 and I don't want him to die before becoming an elder!!!

the research table is only for exp as a scientist and more tech points

building experience comes from building new structures and from fixing existing ones

I have had that problem I have 2 master builders and have tried for ages to get a third so I can open the box I now fear one of my master builders is going to be too old before I am sucsessful

Is it true you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Does their bar need to say "healthy" and not "elderly" to gain experience?

It takes forever after it looks like they've alredy hit the master level, to get that last tiny bit of experience. It will drive you mad. They do eventually get there, though, if they are young enough.

I had a guy die just before he should have turned elder, because an event when he was young made him lose some experience. He was 75 and had been at the master line for about 2 village years and if he'd just lived a few minutes longer...

I put all 3 builders on the vine cutting in front of that cave at the top, that way they all gain experience. Once you get Level 2 for both culture and science I think that they start building on the sewing hut and level 3 on medicine and engineering and they will build a hospital. There is lots to be built I am finding out.
