i have 3 ppl adept farmers for ever why won't they become masters? i want them to make a garden but it says i need a master farmer and none of them will become masters at that. how long does it take ?

Where did you read that you need a master farmer to have a farm? You don't.

You can always check the Guides Section if you need hints.

but i had also read somewhere that i need a master to get a slime eater fish to eat the slime in the ocean. is that true? and if so again i ask how do i get them to become masters now i have three adept and no masters ..... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG lol

You're not doing anything wrong, but being patient might help. This isn't a game that's designed to be finished in a day. The most important thing is to manage your villagers and their resources wisely as you work toward improving their skill and solving the puzzles. There's a lot to enjoy in the game.

i'm worried about the food supply so what do i have to do to get them to build the garden i know it has to do with letting water out of the creek but how and how do i get to do that?

When you get L3 farming you can use one or more masters to get rid of the algae, but they don't have to be solely farmers; one other discipline will do as well. The only way to get masters is for them to work successfully over time. There's no real shortcut (other than an island event). Masters in building and farming tend to take a while because they have to do a lot of walking back and forth while carrying out their tasks.
