hi arienfire001, I'm not an admin, but the only thing that the admins have posted is the guide. They did not do the excel or any of the stew recipes, those were from fellow posters. Sorry, Can't help you more.

Hi arienfire001. I don't use Office either, so I know what you mean. You can get a free Excel 2003 viewer (also a 2007 compatibility pack) from Microsoft here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...&displaylang=EN

Several of stew recipes are in .pdf format. Can you use them?

Hello, arienfire001. The previous responses are correct. None of those stew recipe guides were developed by LDW, but were submitted by people who played the game. I usually recommend the free Excel viewer that Microsoft offers for people who just want to view them, but if you're interested in being able to edit them there are several free alternatives for that, too, such as the software offered at http://www.openoffice.org. Of course several of the stew guides are in pdf format, for which Adobe offers a free reader. \:\)

I'll second openoffice. I use it on all my personal (non-work) computers at home, and it will work great for what you need. It is free, but if you do use it I would suggest making a donation to them for their hard work. I know any amount would be greatly appreciated by them.

Dear arienfire001,
I hope this helps you become a better chef. \:\)

Edit from LadyCFII: I moved this information to the Guides section to preserve the advice here in a spoiler-free condition. You may easily view Borg's work by clicking here. \:\)
