A quick question about the fish. If you have it on map-and then look out to sea (beyond the border of the village) the ocean has a lot of fish out there. Are these just for looks or is something up with that? My little boy and I were just wondering....

I think that isn't really part of the 'real' map, it is just a picture showing you that there are fish there. Just making it look nice.
