Wow how did you manage that? I can't get elders even with villagers that don't dislike learning! I have 1 so far but a couple are finally close.

As for the picture, I don't know really anything about host sites & bandwidth, but I know there's one called photobucket. Maybe you'd have better luck with it? I see you got the jump on me here. I really need to refresh after I've been in another window!

Thanks! It was extremely frustrating... First, I made him a Farmer. Once he was a master, I moved him to Research. I didn't expect him to master that, but once he did... I just had to try to make him an Esteemed Elder. Then I just selected Parenting.... and whammo! Apparenly, he didn't mind "learning" parenting skills!

I have an elder who hates lifting,
he was one of my original 7 guys so i put him on research

he mastered that , needed a bit of help in building so I used him anyway , he was 58 when he mastered farming, he is also dad to about 5 kids and an adept healer, and still alive .. I will post a screen shot tomorrow ( need to set up a photo thingy account) and its late!!

but It dont work with my guy who hates wood. he is master farmer and master reasercher but I cannot get this guy near a building, I pull drag him and after umpteen attempts he is untrained at building , the blue bar dont move at all... he is only 41 so what can I master him at next ??? answers on a postcard , because I tried the male parent one and had a baby boom and all my best workers ...eg girls were out for 2 years!!

Well, if you want to avoid the parent thing, I can't see anything but a doctor for you. Just keep bringing him to all the plants I guess. It'll have to take a lot of work on your part.

Otherwise, if you have a woman over 50, you could try parenting him with her. She won't get pregnant, and you can just keep putting them together with each other. However, you run the risk of him taking off with other girls when you're away.

if I had thought of this BEFORE ...I build The accomodation , then his libido could have run riot but no room to procreate, but I am building other bulidings now....note to self on my other island, let all the lazy/phobia ones have free rein when there is no room at the inn!!!!!

I aint finished this game yet, far from it..... 1st time round I spend all my tech points on things I didn't need, just me being nosy thus ended up with a graveyard ... so started again , and again,...and now have two islands both trying different things at different times .. tat way i get confused , but cannot lose!!
