do you have to get an event to get the dragonfly's?

I too love the interactions going on, I did not get attached to any one villager in VV1, but in VV2 I have 2 V's that I just LOVE so much!

I, too, love the children's laughter, being able to see the parentage, and the interactions the adults can have with the children.

I also especially like the sewing hut! some of the less-attractive villagers (the guys with the fat faces and the crew-cut topknot on top of their heads?? ewwww!) look much better in a different set of threads. and I *hate* the striped jersey and shorts some of the villagers are born into! does it seem like the girls have more clothing options than the guys?

Haven't gotten the sewing hut yet, but am really looking forward to it! Love the collectibles, and the graphics, the waterfall is a nice touch, but why doesn't the pond overflow?? LOL! Really enjoying the new game, not even anywhere near done this one and I already can't wait for the next one!

I think it's funny to see the kids kneel down when they are "going". To see the villagers crawl into the hut, as if they can't wait... \:\)

It's also funny to see them jump up and down, and to see them jump off the ledge. the first time i saw that I freaked out. I have seen one of them jump off the ledge with a basket of laundry yet. like someone else did.

I think it's a nice??, realistic anyway, touch how the builders get hurt while cutting the briar. Those briar thorns can really rip your skin and often leave it a little red and swollen.
I always make sure there is a pot of Revitilising Stew when they're cutting the briars \:\)

I just love the new "jumping" action everyone can do, but especially love to watch the kids play. The giggle is a nice touch too! Of course jumping into the pond is fun - I almost wish I could retire to Isola!

I don't mind the white haired kids - one of my first villagers in VV1 was a white haired gal. She worked dilligently all her life, never refusing a task and died way too young because I hadn't gotten to level 2 on medicine yet.

I just started playing VV2, and I'm perfectly delighted! So far, I almost want to say "what don't I love?" about it (nothing!). However, I particularly love a couple things... (totally new though.. and I refuse to read through MOST comments because I don't my surprises spoiled)..

1) The graphics. The colors are amazing and the detail is breathtaking. I love the abundance of background plants and flowers, and the less-boxy-feel of the outlay. The varied textures are great.. and the waterfall takes my breath away. Lovely.

I haven't made up my mind about the "stinking" mushrooms though (with the vapor wafting). Probably because my first thought was "oh, are those rotten now? I bet if I pick it, my entire tribe is going to die of poisoning or something."

2)The variety of activities. Children play "tag" and who is "it" is identified! This really made me grin. Mothers wash the babies (although I wonder if they've ever heard of impetigo?) and change the nappies!

3) The collections. Ok, so they're probably early-game biased (I don't know yet, don't tell me!) but they're sparkly and fun, and with the tech point "bonus" I don't think they're going to get dull any time soon.

4) Exploration tech. Haven't figgured it out yet, but I'm excited to see something that indicates curiosity beyond the borders. Have to confess, I wondered why the residents of Isola were never curious enough to build a boat.

Thank you for the wonderful game!
