I just got the last (3rd) Medicine and Engineering Tech - I still NEEDED Exploration BUT I got the clearing of the ancient ruins!

I am almost done with the Tech's but do still need Exploration - my actual building (Sewing hut and hospital are both finished now)The vines are cleared, I have 3 pieces of the gong.

Just thought I would give you as much info as I could and wondered if anyone else has gotten anything like this or if it a Glitch?

I have 2 games running - the other game did NOT get the clearing of the ruins.

I got my ruins cleared with culture 3, not exploration 3

Oh - the guide with the puzzle answers (yeah I not only looked I printed it out - shhhh don't tell)

"Puzzle 10 requires Level 3 of both Engineering tech and Exploration Tech. Drag a villager to the ancient covered floor in the southeast part of the village and they will begin uncovering the site."

Puzzle 12 needes Culture Tech lvl 2 for the sewing hut - according to the guide.

You probably have an obsolete copy of the guide - check it again.
