if you don't have version 1 of the game, then you version may have glitches in it. you can be version 1 from bigfish.com, where did you get the game?

Big Fish .com

Do I really have to spend extra money on VV1?

What game are you talking about? A New Home or The Lost Children?

I only have VV2 - The Lost Children on my PC now, I've never purchased VV1.

All I did was paused the game, turn the PC off over night and then all my villagers died when I loaded the game this morning; In a PAUSED game.

Have my villagers died because I haven't got VV1 to fix a glitch?

No. You don't need VV1 (by VV1 we mean VV:A New Home). I think you got confused as to VV2 version 1.00. What you need to make sure you do is after you pause the game, click on the play button to show your village. It sounds like the pause did not take effect before you closed the game. But if the words Paused is on the bottom of the village, you should be ok to close it out. FT has the same issue, but I did not know VV:TLC had it. But it sounds like it does.

VV2 - The Lost Children has TWO versions??

I am pretty sure the game was PAUSED when I turned the PC off because the game was PAUSED when I found out that all the villagers died. There were even leftover food!! I guess they weren't meant to survive if they were so thick....:p

So how do I fix this problem if it happens again?

Hmmm, so when you started the program it showed you village was paused? Hmmmm, that is a _bug_.

There is only one officially released version out there, and you can only get it from Big Fish Games. Is that where you got it? When you click on menu there should be a version number on the bottom left hand corner. It should say Version 1.00, is that what yours say?

Also there will be some helpful information in the game log. If you have not ran the program after this problem occurred, go ahead and close it out, and copy the game log to your desk top incase LadyCFII would like to see it.

Thank you for the prompt replies....

I'll try and fish out the game log then... I've checked and it's Version 1.00.

I've since started a new tribe and have another one running... Rest assured.... I haven't time travelled for any of my new tribes.

What do I do with my game log IF I find it?
