She's a Master Farmer, and Master Scientist, but refuses to master building. Is this a glitch? I'm ready to throw her in the ocean... but alas, she'd just bring back a fish.

it took me ages to get my first builder to become a master.
he built the first hut almost by himself, repaired the mating one alone, built the dam alone and ony clode to completion of the sewing hut did he become a master - i truly wonder how i'll ever get any other master builder

She'll make it, just keep her building. The last few clicks to become master are very very small. So keep her building/fixing stuff!!

That situation is caused by the fact that a villager doesn't become a master until partway through that skill bar segment. It will be changed in the game update, so that it will be less confusing for everyone.

I have a few master builders. In fact, I think only one of my elders so far wasn't a master in building.

Just have cate fix the huts a few times. Once the bar gets that full, it still takes a while to become a master.

I had to read that a few times to get it, but then it made me go "OH!!" lol! I'll just try to be more patient. She's not about to keel over or anything.
