What's up with the name?

I had a pop-up say that there was a lost guardian ( I think?), however, what's up with The Lost Children?

I think it's because when the two villagers first fall down the waterfall they suddenly find all these children alone. Children don't usually live alone....hence, they must be Lost.

Sort of like the "lost boys" of Peter Pan.

Just so you know, the answer becomes clear when you get the vines cleared, not gonna say, but it answers that question when you read the writing.

Really? Can't wait to be able to read behind the vines then. I figured it was a Peter Pan reference as well.
