I have not seen one single beetle. Do I have to have a specific tech level?

Yes there are certain levels and events that have to happen before you get pebbles or beetles. If you search the formum under the spoilers it will tell you what level or event needs to occurr. Not trying to be coy... but this topic doesn't have "spoiler" on it.

More specifically, you need to solve certain puzzles in order to see them.

Update to my collection:

Butterflies: 12/12
Shells: 12/12
Pebbles: 11/12
Beetles: 9/12
WOOT! 4 more left...

i've got 5 butteflies
6 shells
2 pebbles
and not far enough to get bettles

i just need 1 more beetle and 1 more pebble!!!! the wait is killing me !!! i want to know what you get after you have found all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
until then i will be going blind from looking for
them lol lol

I have Butterflies 9/12; Beetles 8/12; Shells 8/12 and Pebbles 8/12. A little slow at this game...but I am getting there!

Butterflies:complete
Shells:missing one uncommon
Beetles:missing two one uncommon,one rare
Pebbles:missing two one uncommon,one rare

how do you know which one are rare or uncommon? did i miss something?

for me, i have:
butterflies: all
shells: all
beetles: 0 --> apparently missed the event/tech so far
pebbles: 7/12

just click on the collections button, botton left side
by the way i am stuck i still need 1 beetle and 1 pebble
