I got 3 master builders to open the crate, but they won't pick up the gong piece to say I completed the puzzle. Is there something I'm missing?

You have to put someone on top of it.

I have, but each time they say they are picking it up, but then nothing happens.

Hmm, weird, Mine picked it right up. Have you tried leaving the game and then reload it and try?

Yes closing the game and reloading it should work.

I put all 3 on top quickly. that seemed to work.

Another puzzle problem with #10. I have level 3 of both engineering and exploration and I drug a villager to the ancient floor but they won't uncover it. I put 3 esteemed elders there that are Masters in Farming, Building and Research and they wouldn't do it either. Still says 'needs more research'. Even drug an adept builder over there with them and another Master Scientist. Any ideas?

Yeah, you need a different tech.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. I dragged everyone on the island over there, from untrained to Masters of every tech except a trainee, including mothers with babies and the children, so I guess I'll get the right one eventually.
