What is the pretty hut for?

I'm talking about the hut that needed to be repaired on the bottom left of the map. I haven't really found out what it's useful for, and I want to know what to do with it now that I've spent all that time repairing it.

the lvoe shack is where a man and a woman villager go to discuss whether or not they want to raise a child together....

no, its just a place for them to go to get the babies...they don't actually HAVE to go there
the population will increase even if you interrupt them befor they get there

Eyes, Uh, if your children play this, maybe you should have a talk to them about it..  Otherwise they might get fired when they ask their boss for two years maternity leave! Or.. even worse.. call their baby Tuna!

I don't have children myself (thank goodness) but one of my students was asking me to explain it to her today...i had to refer her back to her parents, who sadly, will not talk to her about the birds and the bees

That's pretty tough and sad  That's why it's good there are games like this out there, I guess it brings up an easy platform to start discussing things with children. Although ... with the morals some of these villagers have!!

What are the age of your students? Is this a part of a class project? Why did you decide to do this with your students? Just curious because I thought it would be a good teaching tool.

It serves no real purpose in the game except to make things more "realistic" - i.e., real men and women do tend to go off somewhere private for purposes of procreation.
