I am pretty new to this site, but wanted to add, that I have called all the children to the school, during the hunt for mushrooms. When I find mushroom, I know where all the children are. Hit pause and put them all on the mushroom. This was helpful.

I never have to worry about a food crisis due to me cheating and making it so I have an unlimited amount of food. lol I know some of you may not like cheating but that's the only thing I cheated on cause I was tired of getting low on food and having my villagers die on me so I used a program called quick memory editor to set my food amount to 999999 and it never increases or decreases...

The program isn't free you have to buy it but it's worth it because it works on a ton of games. So far I haven't found one game that it hasn't worked for.

so exactly how does that prove you can manage your resources?

The easiest way to pause is to press the space bar.

i have tried that too, and i dont have them too near the mushroom since if you put the child too close the mushroom disappers. but when i try to pile children next to it, the mushroom still vanishes! how do i get it to stop doing that?
