Spoiler???

I have had some adults that 'teach' the kids and some that "tell a story".

What is the difference to the children? Or to the one teaching or story telling = do they learn anything?
Also = Why or How do adults decide which one they will do?

Thanks - it is SO fun to watch the little children gather around the adult! And fun to watch what a "teacher" will bring out of the building to teach with.

According to another post....

any adult can tell a story, however, it takes a parent to teach.

To clarify: "adult" means over 18, and the parent must be at least an adept.

Thanks for the replies - this may be a duplicate post as the first time I tried it vanished LOL

Anyway - do either the adults or the children LEARN anything from either of these?

Do you have to have certain level of Tech. for the "parent" to teach?

I just had a adult tell a story to a child, and the adult gained some skill in parenting. He didn't have any parenting skill before that! I also had the mother of the bunch teaching the children. She went into the research hut and came out with a crab as a visual aid!

So far my "teachers" have come out with: crab, laundry, flowers, a fish.

I still can't see that it "teaches" anyone any skills?? But it is So cute to watch the kids all gathered around watching.
