Yes, it's possible. I've had a lot of games with triplets in them. \:\)

In one completed game I had three sets, and in another that's still running (because I haven't got all the collectibles yet) I've had one set. They all came after I got L3 medicine.

I just got my first pair of triplets!

I had only made 6 babies prior to their birth with a population of 13. Now I have a population of 16 without taking out 2 other working females, which is a plus with getting triplets early on.

This was also an accidental pregnancy. My esteemed elder SLOWLY(he's over 70) traveled around and got one of the younger girls pregnant while I had my game closed for less than 5 minutes. How he caught up to her is a mystery! lol

twins are random, a certain tech level is necessary befor you can have triplets, but it is still a random thing

No twins or triplettes yet, but I had quite a few of both in VV1. Anyway, since I'm not too far along in the game yet, I don't want an overpopulation problem anyway. I laughed about the 70 year old guy catching the young girl. It really is amazing he could seeing how they walk sooooo sloooowly at that age. LOL!

I HAVEN'T HAD TRIPLETS YET. AND I HAVEN'T HAD TWINS EITHER. I SEE ON THE STATISTIC BOARD THAT THEY DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT TWINS, ONLY TRIPLETS.

there really aren't any good looking guys in the game (in my opinion)

i guess it is harder to make the boys look good (art imitating life anyone?? j/k)

I finally got a set of triplets - and MISSED it! I only noticed when I saw 3 identical girls playing together and then went into 'details' and saw that they were indeed Triplets!

Bummer - I miss all the good stuff when I sleep!

So triplets won't necessarily be all the same sex? Interesting! And you guys will have to forgive me. I'm still enjoying vv1 so much I haven't started vv2. My husband and daughter might strangle me if I have too many villages going at once! LOL

okay so need Med tech 3 to get triplets. almost there so guess I better get the women to stop having babies now so they will have time later. one of my males went alittle nuts and we now have 4 new babies.
so put him to work on the garden instead. lol.

congrats Mistykal on your triplets.
did you have to get Med tech 3 first?
and do you get extra points for having triplets?

I just noticed that I have a set of triplets running around in the second village I started. I was looking at all the kids one by one and checking to see who their parents were. The really odd thing about this set of triplets is that the mom is the same for all three of course, but only 2 have the same dad and one has a different dad! All the same age (3), all the same mom (in looks and name -- not another female with the same name) but two different fathers?! I don't know how that happened. LOL!

It probably happened when you launched the game. During startup processing the game tends to make the babies all at once, rather than spread them out like they would be when the game is actually running.

Oh, I think I understand. It really should have been a set of twins followed by a single birth? Oh well, doesn't really matter, I just thought it was kind of odd. \:\?

I have finally gotten my first set of triplets. I also have 105 people. How many people does this game give? I am very happy we can get more than 100. Families are very different, so it wouldn't stop at 100. I hope it continues.
Also I notice on some of the posts here that the burial ground only takes 50 gravestones. I think that the villagers that die last should have thier names on the gravestones. Because there isn't a thing to mourn the new deaths. They have no graves. after the 50 I think the names should change to reflect those that recently departed.
