I was playing the game at home and up popped a window letting me know two more villagers fell thru the cave and into the new village. Does this happen in every game?

Also against warnings, I did a time warp and killed the whole tribe. All the food and tech points are still there. Is there a chance any other villagers will drop thru and continue what I have or should I just bag the whole game.

Those two villagers are an "event", and events are random

In VV1 if you had a wipe, you didn't get any more events, so no magic barrels of babies for the Golden Child to raise who could repopulate the island.

I assume that it's the same in VV2, but I haven't tested it. You'd have to wipe a village and then wait past the next event time and see if the event happened.
