Hi I started my current game with a running person who likes running. I have spent all my game with her making babies but no baby runners have turned up yet :-(
Do babies sometimes have same likes as mum ? might I get a runner from her ?
John.

I have a set of running triplets. Funny to watch three identical men constantly running circles around the village!

Well its like with real life humans i guess.. The chromosomes come from a set of parents... heheh.. so maybe if you breed a running mom with a running dad it will develop a running child?

*sobs* Darn - wish I'd known that. I bred poor Vava and Quickie (I changed her name obviously) to death trying to produce more runners!

well, you have learned something, so it wasn't a total waste (also-you aren't the only one who has tried that)

Ok I have seen posts about runners. I think I have one..a boy. I will watch him and his legs move about 1000 miles per hour...and he goes here, there, and back again in like 4 sec. kinda like a hyperactive kid. Is there a way to now for sure if he is a runner? All my kids have been like this but..only one as an adult tends to move from research table, to wondering, to bored then to farming lol.

It will usually be in the villager's status that he likes, or dislikes, running. Female runners are funny, they make it to the love shack and come out of there with babies before the poor guy gets halfway there Then they run that poor baby round the village for 2 days - I'm surprised they don't produce kids who HATE running LOL Lifters are good too, by the way, just watch them pick up those boulders like they were a twig!

In VV1 one of my founding villagers LOVED running and lifting. But then one day he just stopped running and was slower then ALL of the tribe! Was it because he turned into an elder?

oncew they turn elderly they slow down a lot, even the runners
it seems like they are even slower than the other elderly folks too, because we are used to seeing them zoom around

Look in the Details screen. If his likes say 'running' you've got a runner! You can't usually tell if a child is a runner until they turn 14 otherwise; all the kids zoom about at top speed much of the time anyway (apart from those who actually dislike running).

I recently had a set of triplets from 3rd generation parents 3 girls: Tiki, Thema & Tipa. But she has had another birth 1 ugly boy, she's about to drop again but only 1 this time. Forgot to take her off of parenting. Same father though on all of them. PHEW!!!!
