I have a villager that likes to just study the herbs around the island. She's a trainee Doctor, and she just roams around. Well, she keeps gettin stuck between the garden and the circle and the coconut trees. Is this a glitch in my game or is anyone else having this issue??

well, all my doctors go and study the medicinal plants so they improve their healing skills, but i just let them research if there are no sick people.

There is a spot where doctors get stuck trying to study the red plant near the vines -- it's a pathfinding glitch, and the only thing you can do is pick them up and put them on the plant yourself.

Happens to my docs all the time, so I just keep an eye on them and move them if they do get stuck!

yeah...I pretty much let my docs do whatever they want, but I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this

After letting my docs learn about the plants I put them on other tasks, research, farming etc. Sometimes they arent' happy about it but with some persuasion (repeatedly dropping them on the spot) they will eventually get the message.

Once I did have one villager who wouldn't work ANYWHERE until I let her check out all the herbs. Once she became a trainee doc then she was willing to work wherever she was needed. Weird...Guess she really wanted to become a doctor.

i had that too gran!!!! she refused to do anything i mean i spent a half hour with her trying to get her to climb a darn tree!!! she liked flowers and medicine, and once i took her to the flowers, she would work willingly! LOL i renamed her in my name i'm kinda partial to her now! LOL LOL
