I love this game! It is AWESOME! How do I get rid of the algae from the ocean? Also, how do I get the birds to leave the garden alone? Why are my tech points moving so slowly.....grrr....

but if there are algae, can you still catch at least one fish if you put everyone in the water?

Nope - once you have algae, you can't get any more fish until you clear the water (like the beach in VV1).
