Well, this is pain. I go to look at my people and all of a sudden three people have the name Karina!!!! I didn't change the names and no events happened. Has this happened to anyone else?

It happened to me alot in VV1 but not so far in VV2. No clue on why it happened, except they always seem to be next to one another in the detail screan.

Not in this case. Two where next to each other, the other was at the other end. Then when I changed the names back, I cycle though and found that someone else's name had changed.

This has happened to me also. One elder's name changed to another elder.

Yes, this has happened to me, in VV2. I had two villagers named "Ecco." I didn't do a thing to make it that way. I first noticed it when I clicked on Ecco to drag him to the research table. Then, I clicked on a little child to drag him to pick up a mushroom when I noticed his name was Ecco too! So I changed the little kid's name to Eric. But the only difference in my experience is that they both started with that name to begin with. So, right at the VERY beginning, that was both their names. LOL!

We're working on trying to figure out that bug. For now, the only thing you can do is rename the villagers again.

i love renaming them, i give them crazy names like Kififififu, or Ponikijupaka.....

Did you have any twins or triplets born?

We are actively looking for this bug. It is difficult to reproduce so we are seeking clues from players.

The major time this happened to me and i had 5 Kappas i had a set of triplets

It happened to me where I renamed all of them, and one of them was changed to something different when I checked in again...but it hasn't happened since... if that helps at all...
