In what order should you buy your technologies?

There's no one perfect order... people have different strategies. YOu need to look at the descriptions of the technologies, and bear in mind that you will want to make sure your villagers first and foremost, have enough food to stay alive.

Eating is always very helpful.

My choice has always been farming, construction and then science.

I did mine in order of lowest points required first. IE Farming, then engineering, then exploration.

I think you'll find yourself changing your strategy a lot when you learn the benefits of each tech level.

I have found you need level 3 farming PDQ when all level 2 techs are done. Got the dreaded algae and had no food....eeek
