Each time you get a set you can get more villagers as a maximum. You also get a butterfly, shell, or whatever on the roof of the science hut.

BTW.. is there any particular point to getting all of the "collectible" items? I dont bother scanning for them on a constant basis anymore.. it was getting a bit tedious.

Oh.. whoever did the artwork for vv2 should be commended... it's lovely:)

I have found that the first time you get one of the collectibles, it goes in the collection. But if you get duplicates of what you have already collected, you get Tech points for them. The amount of tech points depends on if it is a common, uncommon, or rare item. This way, not only can the children help with food by finding mushrooms, they can also help get Tech points for the tribe!

yep, and the uncommon collectables are worth 500 tech points

and the rare collectables are worth 1,000 tech points. The collectables definitely help with tech point accumulation.

There is a way to change their outfits. When a villager is doing the laundry. You click on the villager that is carrying the laundry basket and you press F6 until you find the clothes you like. But be careful, because the choice of clothes don't go in a full cycle and if you reach the end of choices, your villager will be stuck with those clothes. Have fun!

Sorry Turtlezrock, F6 doesn't work in VV:TLC. There is a way to change a villagers clothes, but you have to work for it \:\)

Umm. Village Geek? To complain about something is nothing more than to mention that we each are individuals and have preferences. It isn't a political battle, or something that we should have to defend. The complaint wasn't any more offensive than your snapping his head off, although I just had to laugh. Aren't you being just a teensy bit over-sensitive? Do you have a chill pill handy?

I personally started my game over because the only male who was old enough to boink looked like he had a perpetual 5 o'clock shadow. Take THAT, you scroungy thing. You are not going to procreate in MY virtual reality!

It seems to me that instead of taking people to task for not liking the looks of little gray haired people, you could have just mentioned that in this version, the children will look like the parents. So just keep those old hags out of the shack, and I'm guessing you'll probably get rid of that gene \:D (I get to call them old hags, because at 61, I are one).

I've seen quite a few comments on some of the VV forums about age. One person said they figured the fact that the villagers could no longer procreate after 51 might torque the older ladies off. And I suppose that is possible. We're all individuals. But on MY part, as a 61-yr-old granny, I am glad to know that those poor little old ladies get a break. But can they still boink? Not getting pg ... that's terrific. But someone please tell me they can boink till they croak?

Lady Emz, it's my understanding that the children will look like the parents. How about trying to let your gray haired gene die out by not boinking them?

If you try to make one of the elderly women "embrace", they still do. They just don't have children.
