Sigh....it wasn't on purpose...I swear! I had the calendar open to check what day the 1st was, I walked away from my computer and my kids knocked me forward 2 days. I wasn't thinking, so I just put it back to the right date.....now I have something like 2,000 hours until new food, no food stashed (with no coconuts and algae in my water) and only 20,000 tech points. Should I just restart my game? Is it all over?

I'd say cut your losses and start again. One of the joys of having kids that they don't tell you about!
