Hello--How can I get the scarecrow???.....I keep taking an adept farmer over to the twisted wood and vines and they still say confused. Do I have to have certain levels of some tech before it will happen?? Thanks

You have to have a field to build a scarecrow in, which requires a certain tech level, yes...otherwise I didn't think there was a tech requirement.

Have your villagers picked up anything near the twisted wood and vines?

You need tech level 2 of engineering and a master farmer. Take the master farmer to the twisted vines and allow them to walk back the field do this 2 times for the scarecrow.

The vines need level 3 culture.

You have to have irrigated the dry patch as well before the villagers will understand whats wanted of them. I had the right level of tech and an adept farmer but they couldnt understand what I wanted til I'd solved the irrigation puzzle

You don't need a master farmer, just a farmer that is more then just a traniee.
