Help with Health/Coconuts

Hey all! Been reading a lot of posts, thanks for all the great tips. I am just starting out, and one of my villagers is really weak, getting weaker. I have made him eat, plus bought the first Medicine upgrade (I can't afford the 2nd one yet) but he is not getting better - is there anything else I can do? He isn't sick, so if I try to have someone heal him, he thinks they're trying to get it on with him Also, the coconut trees - do the coconuts ever come back like the berries on the bush did in VV1?

I have lost a whole village and 2/3rds of another. One thing I discovered in VVI was if you drop whomever is doing the healing at the top of the "sick" person you are more likely to have him healed. At least nursing mothers in VVII can be healed. I have also had to sometimes have the kids do the healing. Sometimes it takes someone of the same gender.

You can improve a weak villager's health in several ways in VV:TLC. The simplest way, which is available from the very beginning of the game, is to have them eat repeatedly at the food bin. Also, switching them to farming or doctor will reduce the injuries that can cause them to be weak.
The coconuts do come back, but not very quickly.

have them eat repeatedly at the food bin. Thanks! I started making him eat repeatedly and he is getting better already. I guess I gave up on that idea too quickly before, I didn't see any difference when I did it once, so I thought it wasn't helping. I should be more patient!

Will the coconuts come back even if the supply isn't repleted? Do I have to take them all before I wait out the next batch?

Please don't post spoilers in a forum that's not marked as having SPOILERS. People that are trying to do things without looking at guides and spoilers don't want to run across answers this way.
Can someone edit the topic on this one?

Coconuts tend to appear when he crops do, which kind of make them redundant.

not completely
the berries in vv1 worked much the same way, and there were times when those berries were necessary

When my villagers are weakened, I definitely have them eat a lot. I also put them up in the far right corner since that often makes them walk around "thinking" or "contemplating" (I can't remember exactly what it says they are doing, but something that isn't hard). Or I put them into the pool because quite often after they swim for awhile they will sit on the side resting.
Also, as bad as I want tech points (I have never tt, didn't even know what it was when I first started reading these forums), I have learned to allow them to rest, no matter what their job is. If I feel one of them has been working too hard, I will purposely pull them away, hopefully to an area that might catch their attention for awhile. Just to give them a break.
