I have all of my villagers working on clearing the briar patch. My food was getting low, so I clicked on the veggies to see how much was left, ,and it said 60. I went back up to the briar patch to get a farmer, but when I dropped him on the veggies, suddenly they were full! It said 790! No time travel at all, and I'm not complaining, just mentioning...

That means the crop cycle had been completed ... so your patch was full again - with 800 crops. Your farmer picked 10 - so 790 left. Nice timing
