For some reason VV forces me to play it "fullscreen," which makes it slightly annoying to try and do other things as i'm playing. I had this problem with VV1 as well, but if don't make the game "fullscreen" then I can't select the villagers full screen and sometimes can't click the buttons like I can full screen. All I can do when it isn't fullscreen is move around the map and watch. Is it supposed to be like this or is it something I can do to fix it?

Can you not even select a villager?

When you went to windowed mode, did you try to resize the screen any?

What screen resolution is your computer set for?. If it's not at least 800 x 600, you will not be able to play the game in windowed mode.

Have you tried closing you're game and opening it up again?

That is a very non-standard screen resolution. You might want to double-check the setting. The easy way to do that is right-click on the desktop, select Properties, and then the Settings tab. Your screen resolution will be shown in the lower left portion of that tab.

The only other cause that we know of, as bajantara mentioned, is resizing the window. It's very easy to accidentally resize the window while you're scrolling the map. The only way to fix that is to exit the game and launch it again. You can avoid that situation in VV:TLC by using the number keys to scroll around the map.

If your Running Vista and have the Sidebar set to Always on-top I've seen issues caused by that but thats only in vista

I always use full screen... then use Alt + Tab to switch to other programs/projects.

I found that problem earlier. I found that if you hold the mousehand thing a little bit above whatever youre trying to click on that you have more success. Its weird
