I just love this game and all the other ones too I really like the fact that you can build a fire in this one. And the kids are so cute jumping to get the coconuts.. lol Ok, I gotta go explore the island

Looking forward to knowing the parents of the kids and seeing them get grey and old too. Curious...can you now not see the kids' items from the birds eye view in the map? That was kinda nice being able to see the shrooms that way.

OK, why am I always getting the SAME two butterflies and the SAME shell??? And I've got a kid that dislikes running - he walks so slow he could be a teenager before being about to walk across the whole island. The funny thing is he is always the one I use to collect things because I always know where he is... just 2 steps away from the last place I left him!

Robynanne, I have a little girl who thought she was the fastest runner and so she wanted to race everyone.. so I said ok, and during the race she twisted her ankle.. now she moves at a crawl and she hates running. bummers!

I just had my first baby grow up. I like the way it shows his parents over his head. I also got an event where a kid found some odd black seeds and was wondering whether to plant them or eat them. I said to plant them, and all the plants around them died. What would it have done to him if he'd eaten them!? (I hope it's not too much a spoiler, but it was a real shock.) I'm anxiously waiting for the oldest girl child to grow up. She's sixteen now, and I want to hook her up with my scientist, who just turned 18. He likes snakes and she dislikes them, so I'm wondering if their child will like AND dislike them. That would be hilarious. I'm studiously avoiding spoilers... mostly. I checked up on how to get the clothing change thing, because I want it. XD

tracy - achhhhh! Biggles --- I choose the wrong answer and needless to say I was very upset about it!!! I think I pouted for a couple of minutes but then I got over it . . I was so busy laughing at myself for being such a doofus to get caught like that, I couldn't even be vexed about the outcome.

I have only played the trial; waiting for my handsome hubby to return home with the credit card. VV2 is the last of my many Valentine's gifts. But I from what I'd played; I loved. I'd gotten as far as a new mum caring for her babe. And I love see the mum interacting with her child; changing and washing it. I am really looking forward to when I can really begin playing the game.

Love it all, but wish I could change their clothes like in VV1 The fire is cozy isn't it. have tried doing multiple games, but found it easier to focus on just one for the first time. I still play with VV1, and am working on Westward too. LORD do I have a life LOL

Hello all. I am playing VV2...sort of. The day it was released was the day I came down with the worst flu I have ever experienced. As a result, I have been playing the game in half speed, and then only on and off as I feel up to it. Lets see, I have only two Esteemed Elders, population 16, two of which were the result of an "Island Experience", 2227 food points, 57822 tech points, Seconds on all the technologies, have solved seven puzzles, and have one more Gong piece to find. I have no more coconuts which puzzles me as I had trees full before I went to bed one night, but the next morning they were empty, and, as of an hour ago, I have the dreaded green in the ocean. I have also had two two Island experiences which stripped me of a thousand tech points each, otherwise I would be a lot closer to the Farming level 3 and it's famous fish. So, so far so good with my little island village. Hmmm....I heard a nasty rumor that my very much beloved pink haired girl is not in this version??? I know you can't please everyone...but she was my favorite villager..... Anyways. I am enjoying reading about everyone's adventures with the game, and am flabberghasted at how easily, and how quickly you all are getting Masters, but as I said, I am running half speed and nothing happens quickly at half. Cheers Lisa.

I still play with VV1, and am working on Westward too. LORD do I have a life LOL I still keep popping into check my four villages in VV1 as well as playing with VV2. I finished Westward about five times and now I'm waiting for the next part of that to come out because it ended VERY abruptly and I can't believe that's all there is to it. I DO have a life in the "real world" outside my computer - but I spend all my spare time staring at a screen munching biscuits (cookies) and drinking coffee.

I love the game also and think LDW did a GREAT job on the sequel. The interaction between the kids and adults is a great addition. I also like that it seems to take longer to acquire Master skills and some of the puzzles are a bit tricky The only complaint is that the villagers look the same as in VV1... I was hoping they would be more refined. However, that is a tiny, tiny complaint!! Kudos to LDW and I can't wait to see what fun additions will be included in VV3.
