I buy all my casual games through a particular site (for various reasons), and I was wondering when I should expect to see VV2 available there. I know it's roughly two weeks, but it is at all possible to give a date for wide-spread release?

VV2 should be widely released on all portals in around 2-3 weeks.

I guess if I've waited this long, I can wait another two to three weeks.

It depends on our publisher, BFG, and what they think is best. Sometimes the exclusivity goes a little longer, but we are pressing for them to go to a wide release asap.
