Yeah, but you can scare them off by, dropping a villager near them.

after you play the game for a while they get a little annoying

Awww, how could something so little and cute be annoying ... lol

My Cat "Yoda" is little and cute. He's currently tearing up paper and plastic in my room, and yes, it's annoying. And no, I don't have the heart to smack him for it. He would make a nice pair of slippers though.

I still do enjoy the parrots. My bird enjoys watching the fly away But they're a cool edition to the game, rather than just a mention during an island event, you get to see them. It's cool.
