Todah (Thank you) VV2 (once its downloaded) is one of my Valentine's gifts from my handsome hubby. I love everything; the artwork, the music, the fact the children have more to do. But my flavorite is that the new mums really takes care of her babies.
We both enjoy the game and Mark is looking forward to the new and exciting tales from The West Of Isola series. Even now he out buying more notebooks for me to keep record of who married, birth and deaths.
My newly weds, Aslan and Zen have been scoping out that cave for weeks. Now they finally find out what is really inside....

We all appreciate that you answered the call and gave us Virtual Villagers: The Lost Children. I am about 30 hours into the game, and I love so much about it--from the villagers jumping off the cliff into the pond to the children helping with tech points. The village is lovely with much detail, a true pleasure to visit.

I am very happy that you've released VV2, and i thank you very much, HOWEVER please don't force us to use Big Fish any more, giving them exclusive rights to the game is a hassle, they try to add so many unwanted things into my computer, it's not worth the problems they cause just to have a new game

Mary, we don't ever force people to use any game portal. Big Fish Games is our publisher, which is why the games are available there first. As Arthur has said, they help us in important ways. You always have the option to wait until the games are available at other game sites, or even to PM Carla if there is a compelling reason that you can't purchase the game from BFG.

I do thank you for the game. I'm really excited about it. I wish you hadn't given Big Fish the rights to it though as I can't make the download authenticate for me without a very complicated fix they propose which adjusts my computer's security levels and I don't think I should have to do that to install the game. I've never had to do that for any download I've bought in the past, including VVI and Fish Tycoon.

So, someday I hope to actually be able to play it.

I am so glad it's out. My son and I love VVI and are really looking forward to playing this one.

This game is awesome! I love how it runs in real time, it gives a sense of realism that most games dont have. If I could go back in time, I would definitley tell cavemen to invent real time computer games rather than fire. Keep up the awesome work.

You guys have come up with the most ingenious games I have ever played. They're simple, but mind racking at the same time. I've played Fish Tycoon, VV, and VV2....I LOVE THEM ALL!!!! Thank you guys for all your imagination and hard work!!!

I have let you know several times just how much these games mean to me.
I am a shut in.I rarely go out doors.
It is very rare that a game brings such joy that it becomes part of a persons life,much like a soap opera does to some women.
But unlike soap operas,this is very clean and decently done.
Thanks is all anyone can say to show thier appreciation for something that any other person would say."It's only a game".
But sometimes "Only a game" can take a person away from some of thier problems.
Much like a book sometimes takes a person away from thier boring or lonely life to some far away places. Or to a place that they normally wouldn't be able to go.
This game takes me to a small little Island with little people needing help to survive a life that they themselves couldn't. It is a game But I myself get enjoyment out of it.
So I thank You So very much for the 2 games that have brought so much joy to me.

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU. We have waited very impatiently for this for a very long time, and you've produced it regardless. VV2 includes many of the best bits of VV1 and even incorporates some of the ideas we put to you over the months in development - Thanks! Not only that but it inrcorporates and deals with some of the "issues" we had with VV1 (e.g. "incest" and elderly [female] parenthood) and involves the children in the life of the tribe - Great! Thanks for listening, keep listening, keep developing and you are absolutely on to a winner. Best get back before my villagers die of starvation ...

I do like the sequel version. However, I am a bit agitated that it takes so long to get a master in some things. It takes much longer than the first version. Im getting bored waiting for them to master the skills so that I can complete the next puzzle.

I have really enjoyed vv1 and just got vv2 and really happy that vv3 is on it's way. yahooooo weeeee I thank you so much for the many hours of pleasure. Thank you all-Thank you-Thank you-Thank you. You have excited an old womans lonely heart.:D

I'm completely hooked! And I don't play "games". I loved VV1, found this forum and finally got VV2 - LOVE IT!!! There almost isn't an end to a village. Thank you for all your hard work. And kindness to the newbies!

VV1 is the longest game I have played...ever! And I never get tired of it!

I Love being a goddess, my villages rely on me. Good to be wanted. Thanks LDW keep up the good work. Can't wait for VV3.

I enjoy the details, how the water reacts when you click it, how the villagers say "whee!" or "Hey!" when you pick them up. Someone(s) put a lot of thought into this game and it shows.

Replayability would be enhanced if there were more mixed and unpredictable random events, especially after you get some levels going for the villagers. I liked the surprise typhoon in VV1. Nirvana is rather a drag for too long.

Being able to teach the kids to pick mushrooms reliably would be a good thing.

I noticed some say kids enter VV1 in a crate when need be (I never had that event happen). Is there some provision for help to enter if you get down to one villager in VV2, or all one sex? That would be nice, as it is sad to have to send the lone one to CyberHeaven and restart through no fault of his own. That happened on one play of VV2... they starved instead of fishing while I was gone for a day... d'uh! No algae yet, so why did they forget how to fish???

Very good job, though, Gang. I look forward to VV3 with curiosity.

Thank you LDW for such GREAT games. I only finished VV1 last week, (as i pause it when i go off as i've lost villagers when i leave them for a few days). I still go on now & again & let them work, PARTY, have babies, PARTY, PARTY, rest, PARTY etc. They dont do much since GC arrived from my 2 favourite parents. I got VV2 from here this week so only just started the game. I'm loving it with all the new things you have added to this game. I have'nt let no-one have a baby yet as i want them to get food & tech up a bit first. Thank you again LDW, i know when VV3 comes out it will be just as good if not better. VV2 is much more of everything.

I just wanted to say thank you for VV2. My wife and I love both games. The only thing I can see that would be an improvement for the next version would be a way to minimize the guid (that is the part that shows the population, food, tech and puzzle buttons etc.) so that all you see on the main screen is your tribe. If there's already a way to do that, can someone tell me how please? Thanks again!!

Congrats on a terrific job! I have thoroughly enjoyed both versions of Virtual Villager. Your attention to detail, sense of humor, degree of difficulty, etc is terrific. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed hours of entertainment at such a reasonable cost. I've proudly joined the ranks of the OCD who diligently and repeatedly train their stubborn villagers to create a thriving community! I wish you continued success on future projects.

Thank you so much for VV2. I really appreciate using the numerical keypad this time to get around; much easier on the wrist. I also love that the children can contribute so much to the tech points; that really helps and is so much less boring than just looking for mushrooms!

I also like the sewing hut and the fact that the game doesn't really end once all the puzzles are solved.
