I had one couple have a baby (played the trial with the help feature on - but I did buy the game!). I am in the beginning of the game still (6 people, my son acidentally killed one or I would have 7) and since then I haven't been able to have any more. The "baby" is almost a teenager and won't get anymore mushrooms soon. Every time I try to get some love shack thing goin on, I get an either, "your villager has improved at breeding" or "they are too hungry to think about that"

What do I do? I have puzzles 1 thru 5 and #8 completed. I also have a master builder (but everyone else is adept) I have level 2 for farming and construction and I keep wondering what do I have to do to get these people in the mood?

You need to make you're villagers farm.

if you have food in your bin, let your villagers eat it. when they are done eating, it should say "your villager feels better after eating.". repeat this process until they are full enough to breed

Keep trying to get people to farm! Even though building might be thier specialty you can still get people to farm. It might take a few tries though but it is still possible. Also, on thier detail screen, uncheck biuling and put in farming. They wont breed until you have some food.

Ok... I have the farm built and they have been farming like crazy. I split them up into farming (to keep food supply up cause we haven't figured out the fishing thing) and research so I can get those tech points to move up in the levels.

I've gotten them to reproduce with 0 food in the bin. You just have to keep on throwing them together over and over. Even if they've "improved at breeding" they won't get a baby every time. Usually at the beginning of the game I might have to throw them together 10 times to get them to have a baby (that's ten times in one go, not waiting a few minutes and trying again).

Good! now wait until the food is at about 500 and then you can make some more babies!

ok... so when we have successful fertilization, both of them should come out of the hut and the woman should be carrying a baby right? they don't "show" pregnant do they?

I know these are dummy questions but I am kinda already addictedt to this game and I am thinking that my (real) family is going to run out of clean laundry and starve to death.

Sometimes it takes a bit for the baby to show up in the moms arms but it will. But they dont get a baby ever time they..........yeah........

Right, though the baby might take a few seconds to appear. Just look at your population count - it'll go up by 1 if you get a baby.

Yay! We have babies! We tried the farming thing and feeding the couples we wanted and between my son's village and mine there are now 3 babies which is awesome! Food supply is up and mommas are nursin!

Whoo hoo! (is it odd that I feel good about making my villagers breed?)

It helps to use a villager with a lot of skill in parenting. As well as having the 3rd tech level.

You have to have level 3 Fertility, to get triplets. But you don't ALLWAYS get twins or triplets.

I have something to as aobut vv1 i have been playing the game for about 2months now and i have completed the game and i have not once got tripletes and i have mastered all the tech what can i do to have tripletes or will it just come in time

As has been mentioned above, the incidence of triplets in the game is completely random. I would like to know how many sets of twins you've had, just for comparison. Could you please check your game's statistics screen and let me know what the statistic for twins is? Thanks.

Just watch the population number. If you have 14 people, watch the number 14 and start mating them. The moment she becomes pregnant, the number jumps to 15.

They do not actually have to enter the hut for her to become pregnant. The fertilization takes place when you mate them. What I do is repeatedly mate them until I notice the population number went up by one, or I notice at the bottom it says she does not want to mate anymore because she is "Nursing a Baby!"

Note they become sterile when your population limit is reached. If your population limit is say, 30, and your population is 30, no one else can become pregnant until your population limit goes up. When your population limit is reached is the best time to mate them like crazy to create Master Parents as they will never get pregnant and can be mated over and over and over .. sort of like Ft. Lauderdale during spring break.

i posted this in the shout box but how come i have more girls than boys? everytime someone gets pregnant, i get a girl about 85% of the time.... is there something i need to be doing, hookin up with someone else??? I am about to be down to 2 males that over the age of 18 - the rest of my people are either children (2 males) or women!

I completed VV once and I'm playing again to see if I can complete the game more quickly this time. Question - do some of you just let the game run after that having babies as some die off? Watching the GC run around? I was just checking the leader board and saw some outrageous number of babies being born! Just curious really. BTW - never had triplets but my daughter had 4 sets of twins in her FIRST game!! On medium level.

I have a question about vv1. I let my old game run in the background while I was playing again. I wnet back and looked and I had 92 villagers. I thought that you could only have 90 at a time max? Has this happened to anyone else?
