My decision is based on the information I have read about vv2 on Gamezebo and this site and playing vv1. But I would say that if you're not 100% sure - which I think might be you seeing as you had to ask - then it's not going to hurt you to try the demo. If you like it after playing the demo then you can buy it $\:\)$
