I've been playing the demo today and I am trying to decide if i should purchase the game. My only question: Is the game always played in that surface area, or does the island expand somehow as you play?

Also, the sequel is coming out very soon (hopefully within a week), so you might want to wait and see if you'd rather just get it. It looks like (just from reading reviews) it will be more suited to sitting there and playing instead of just checking in a few times a day.
