Cass, I know how you feel. It was a great day of celebration here in my house when the GC found the Book of Pearls. I made him go off and read it and the rest as they say is history. He is gone, gone, gone. And I don't miss him one bit. But I love the red hair

Ya the red hair was very cute and it made me re-think the not liking him for a little while, but I was soon reminded why we don't get along needless to say I've been waiting for generations (VV generations that is!) for a gift like this to come along, and finally my patience paid off! Still a relative newbie. I've had three GCs in three villages and they were all bald. Sorry to say I got bored enough to restart the villages...didn't know there was such a thing as a Book of Pearls. Do these little baldy golden kids grow hair after awhile or what? My last GC came around as soon as the puzzles were solved and the island population was only 58!

oh no the GC never gets hair on his own, I had an event which I made him drink a vial of something and it turned his hair. Things can only happen to the GC with events

Poor little GC! All he wanted to do was help you solve a few puzzles! Then once he does all that for you, what do you do? You KILL him!! Boy I'm glad I don't live in your house!! I think we should change your screen name to "The Black Widow". That is more fitting.

Well, my cruel side says that the GC did a few puzzles, but he can be so full of himself for solving 1/4 of the puzzles. The villagers want to work (or we want them to work), and that brat won't help

I agree with Cass and Izzy. He interfers with people working and burying the dead. All the little brat wants to do is throw a party and once in awhile replenish food.

I say let's tie him up somewhere.

I wonder if you can make another GC after the first one meets his untimely demise...I'd also be willing to bet that if any more of us are lucky enough to get rid of GC, we're not going to experiment with GC Jr.!

My dear; if The GC healed the sick, helped farmed, grew up and became the leader of the tribe, Master Teacher, weaved baskets, made clay birds or even visited his old mum with chocolates and flowers from time to time, I could deal with him. But when a five year old puts people into a trace every five minutes and throws a party every time a relative dies, then I ahve a problem with the Great Pain. My last GC found his blss at the end of The Book of Pearls and I am very happy for him. And for my villagers who can get back to the busniess of fishing, building and making babies
