Is anybody else just down to no villagers except the Golden Child?

I have one village with just the Golden Child, who is sick. And one where it's just the Golden Child, but he's healthy. One of the other villages has just males.

The two where it's just the Golden Child also don't seem to trigger any more events.

Since the GC is almost invincible, it's not all that hard to end up with him as the sole survivor. And, since he's a child, Island Events will not happen, either. The Island Events require at least one adult villager in the tribe.

Is there anyway for the GC to die? ( not by events)

No, he can't die, only with some events, bubblysnuggly.

LMAO, he's died many times in my dreams.

I am new to VV anf having ttouble with the last 4 puzzles. How do I get the GC? What is that? Thanks.
