Wanted to let you know about something hilarous....many of you I am sure already know about it.

In one of my games, one of the children found a vial on the beach and drank it. It made him more virile and he is now a master parent who has ALL the women on the island pregnant. The other guys are doing all the work and never get to have any time with the women because they are all nursing babies. He goes after each woman as soon as she is available, kisses her and off they go and she winds up nursing a baby again. It is a hoot!!!

ROFL!! That is FUNNY!! I bet all the girls like him!! And i bet all the men are jealous.. hehe..!!

Found out he is a master parent.....have been having fun with men and women in the roll as master parents. They will hit on anyone not moving fast enough. You can watch them RUN to someone they have their eye on and then they always makes it to the love shack before the one they kissed and then they are off to find someone else. What a riot!!!!

The whole master parent thing is scaring me. It would interfere with my controlled breeding program. I can't believe how hard I work to prevent certain people from breeding, at least until an unrelated villager gets old enough. I feel bad for them when I make them wait, too. Juro 'bson has to wait until a 'umok or 'omok girl child grows up.. he's now 26 and the oldest girl he'll be able to breed with is 11. AARGH! Poor guy, every other guy over the age of 22 has fathered at least 3 children now.

I'm glad this forum exists, because there is no way I could say that anywhere else.

I started a new village which had a runner..yeah! Not long after I started this village, I had an event that involved the runner and the event turned him into a Master Parent, maxing out his Breeding skills...arrggh

Do you know how hard it is to catch a runner with maxed out breeding skills??? I try to control my population early in the game because of food...every time I open the game he is either chasing after a woman or has caught 1 or 2 while I was gone..it is too funny but driving me crazy!

Have you tried going to the details screen and setting his skill preferance to something else? Just keep in mind if you set it to something he has not tried before that you will need to drag him where you want him working until you see the words "trainee" in his discription. Good luck!

He is set to Farmer and is a Master Farmer, also had him as a buidler for a while and he is an Adept Builder. I never set him to Parent, but the event maxed out his breeding skills, so he just goes running off whenever he wants, knocks up some poor unsuspecting female villager and goes right back to fishing. I have enough food now, so now it is just pretty funny to watch, thankfully I set him to farming so the next hut is being built by a very elderly SLOW villager so my population cannot go up at least for now.
