Oh wowwwwww Thanks so much charley, that has my wheels turning now. Think I know where but I dont have all the villagers yet and to one of the ones in the pic has already passed. I think I'm days away from find it, when I do I' let you know.

Hello all, I have a prob. I have all techs. I have 90 villagers and they will not breed, Im thiking its cause of the housing, Im at the point of needing the golden child. Should I restart the game?

You can not go past 90 villagers, unless, an event has coused the population to go up, or your at 89 vilagers and have twins or triplets, you can go above! So no, don't restart your game, there is nothing wrong!

Sorry it took so long to get back,but what you are saying is as the older villagers die off and the others can breed sooner or later I will find the golden child????

Yes, only one needs to die off.

And, if you're really stuck, there's a Virtual Villagers guide section at the bottom of the forum, which contains hints and spoilers.

It's not so much that Im stuck. It's after I got all of my fertility all of the females had babies and after that the total of villagers went up to 90 before I could get the golden child.

Ok Im not sure where to opst this, But wahooooooooo I found the GC today. Now I'm wondering if I can go past ninty villagers and if so is there and thing I need to do?

Nope. To get past 90 you just need to have a set of twins or trips when you are at 89! It will happen, no need to worrie about that!

So they never ever can go over 9o unless they have twins or trips. I'v read some of the postings and by the way they sound they can go way over.

That is true. We've seen them go as high as 97 or 98, but not much if any above those numbers.

90 is the limit. You can get more due to unusual circumstances (multiple births or the game "catching up" when it gets turned on every so often or multiple conceptions at the same time when there are several set to breeding and someone dies, thus needing to be replaced), but 90 is the intended top limit.
