Hi I am my name is Gretta and I am new to this forum as well as to the game Virtual villagers. I love the game though i am not having great succecss with it. I have lost 5 villages and the last one i am going to loose for all the men died. LOL

I am a simmer I all of the games as well as the sims two. This is simimuliar to the sims but it more reminds me of Microsofts Age of empire than the sims.
I was looking for some games the other day and came across this one and thought i would try it love it. Now i fi could just get the hang of it then that will be cool.

Shalom Gretta; I'm Elanna and I too enjoy game. My husband also gets a kick out of it. No, he doesn't play; he just likes hearing what my little people are up to. Right now you and I are in the same fit; no men I started with five and three died, leaving me with a 10 year girl and a man 18 years older than she. Dan, died at age 57, leaving Spice with five GIRLS. Spice just passed away at age 67 and her girls are now in their 50's and 40's. Again welcome abroad and may we both be bleseed with a crate of male babies

I saw in the forum that old men can make babies I thought i was like the sims when they get old they can not make babies. The last man well he died when i tried to get him to go another round.
Well I went back in there and I made me some babies. I have two boy now and a male kind of yucky i made his sleep with his aunts but hey i need a village...LOL

I understand how you feel. Spice was 10 when all but one other villager had died. Dan was 18 years older than she. When Spice was 18, she had to mate with Dan. There was no other way for the village to survive. He died at 57, leaving five girls. Spice has since passed away at 67 and her eldest daughter, Elana is now 58 and Zena is 44. Unless there is a crate or barrels on the ways, I am not so sure the village will continue. But I don't have the heart to end the game.....

Sounds like you're having a really tough intro to VV.. If you have to start again, Planned Parenthood is one of the keys. Try, if you're going to have a baby, to make the female do the advances... and keep the numbers down until you have level 3 farming.. 10-12 tops before that point. Lots of good luck and welcome

I just came back in here because i read some where in the forum that the elderly can still make kids well I did just that. I know have a village of 46 people. wayyy wayyy too much food. My village is doing great. I love this game.
